Sixth of Sixth - Photos

Right now I'm in Oregon for my nephew's second college football playoff game. And our server in Seattle won't respond. The usual long-distance fixes plus having someone turn a couple of switches off and back on to reset things haven't worked.

So I chose from my folders of photos on the desktop of my laptop. There it turned out the sixth folder was one I'd just added with random photos taken in Salem today. Here the light of the setting sun lights up red Japanese Maple leaves against the brick wall of a University building.

And I took this photo right before that one. The building is the woolen mill built by the original missionaries to support the school that later became Willamette University. This counts as my fiber-related content for the post.

Willamette lost today 27 to 30, their first loss of the season. They played the division's defending champions, and played them well except for a first quarter where they couldn't get the ball closer to the goal line than 10 yards. They beat the other team in the second half.

My nephew caught seven passes and made two touchdowns.

And he made a tackle. He doesn't tackle. He's a receiver. But if he's the one there, he'll do it. It will feel odd not to go to a game next Saturday. This one made four in a row, plus one two weeks before that.

Okay, I snuck in a few extra photos. I'll try to get around and leave you guys comments to let you know very soon, but not tonight.
