Last Monday as we drove down to California we passed Mount Shasta just as the sun set. Here are a few views of the mountain. This is one of the old volcanos in California's portion of the Pacific Ring of Fire.
Last summer when we drove this route during the height of the California wildfires, we could not see this mountain from the highway through the thick smoke.
I do have a scarf to knit on on the plane and at other odd moments. Pictures when it's worthy. The sweater sits in the trunk of the car at the Sacramento airport looking not much different than the last time you saw it.
