We're Not in California Anymore, Toto

At 7:30 this morning in the early overcast light, I finally got a photo of a neighbor's daffodils among the oaks and pines.

At 2:30 this afternoon we touched down to this.

Seattle's Spring does start early. It just looks wetter and grayer. And it lasts longer.

But I did finally get some knitting done.

(Note the metal Addi lace needles. I had no problem getting multiple metal needles in two different projects through security at either end - for now. )

Actually, this trip was back and I got through both directions. I did not take one of my little tool kits with cutters, pins, etc., though.

Next Friday we drive back down so I can take whatever I want in the way of knitting supplies.
