I apologize for so many days absent. The last few days included a combination of lots of chores and errands and some down-time doing something completely different. I did a couple of actual workouts and caught up on an exercise video forum I had neglected since last May.

I finished the knitting on the cat's little throw late last night. It still needs ends sewn in and a crocheted finish on the side edges - if I can ever get it back. No one could accuse these girls of not appreciating a nice hand-knit gift.

Don't forget if you haven't yet, please leave a comment for entry in my 6-month Blogiversary contest by midnight tomorrow. Also, if you don't link to a blog where I can get contact information for you when I don't get a comment notice from TypePad, please send me your own comment notice via the link in my sidebar. Odds are I won't get your e-mail address otherwise right now. Melissa and northernknitter, I didn't get your e-mail addresses so please send me a note.
Hello, I followed your shameless plug on the Harlot's blog. Can't resist those Blogiversary contests!

Hi, I too, followed your plug for your contest. Happy 6 month Blogiversary! I'll email you also, since I am one of the "have-nots" a/k/a blogless.

If I comment twice, do my chances improve?
I once knit chair mats for my parents' cats using mohair and leftovers from a sweater. The cats liked them and it kept some of their fur off the chairs.

Gotta love shameless plugs on the Harlot blog!

Sorry, Anne, I'm just entering everyone in the Excel table once. Nice try, though.
The cat hair is right up there with the cat's enjoyment as motive for this project. Right now there are no cats on it, but I can't reach it to work on it without disturbing the cat on my lap.
Thanks for stopping by, everyone.

Just had to pop over. I am a sucker for a contest. Especially one with such fine prizes. I love the kitty knitting. I'm working on a blankie for my little pup. Atleast your kitties waited until it was finished. Mine wants to lay on it as I knit.

Seems like no matter what it is I knit, I have a hard time keeping the cats off of it, too!!!

Love the A, B, A+B kitty snaps!
Good thing you're using circulars, or you'd never get a row in edgewise.
Fabulous work on the shameless plugging, btw.
I knew you when...!
