I passed a bit of a blog milestone late yesterday. My total page views reached 1,000. Actually, they stand at 1,020 last check.
Other than the initial set up, I haven't tinkered much, so the majority of those are real people, so far as I can tell. For a new blog from someone who hasn't participated much in the on-line knitting community, that seems pretty good to me. Thanks to everyone who took the time to check me out.
I also have 80 comments for my 54 posts, not counting this post. Double thanks to those who have commented. I like putting personas with those page view numbers. A few people stop by often and already feel like part of my little sub-community.
Saturday marks my two month blogiversary. Unfortunately, the day will be crazy. I fly to California today for a nephew-in-laws high school graduation. Saturday I get back at 11:45 AM, have a ballet performance by the student we sponsor at 3:30, and another ballet performance at 7. Who scheduled that day?
I plan to set up some yarn reviews to post while I'm gone in case I can't get here. Make yourselves at home while I'm away. There's juice and water in the frig.
Don't worry. I'll wash the dishes as I'm done. Enjoy your brief getaway!
